At King's Wood School, we run a community based parenting support programme - Parents As First Teachers (PAFT).

This voluntary programme is free to all parents and carers of babies and pre-school children (0-5 years), and is designed to enhance child development and school achievement. Your involvement can begin as soon as you know you are pregnant.

There are home visits available for some families and monthly group meetings available for all families.

You can also find us on the Buckinghamshire family information service website

As all of our face-to-face activities are cancelled for the time being, find us on Facebook for ideas and discussions at or get in touch with PAFT at
