Governors
On behalf of the Governing Board, I am delighted to share with you our commitment to sharing in driving the success of our school’s vibrant, diverse community.
Our school’s vision is simple yet profound: Nurture : Inspire : Enrich.
We believe that King’s Wood School should be a place where every child feels safe, valued, and is encouraged to respect others and to explore their unique potential. As a governing board, we seek to maximise this by supporting, but challenging, our headteacher and staff, to ensure that our school remains a nurturing environment in which every student is challenged and supported to reach their full potential. With the school’s staff, we seek to
- Nurture a safe, happy, and inclusive environment in which all children learn and develop.
- Inspire creativity and curiosity through a broad, balanced curriculum that challenges and engages all learners.
- Enrich the experiences of all children by exposing them to a wide range of people, places, activities, ideas and opportunities.
We are incredibly proud of the rich diversity of our school community. We celebrate the mixing of diverse perspectives, voices, and backgrounds and experiences, which sets our children on a path of development into tolerant, well-rounded citizens. As governors, we are committed to ensuring our school is inclusive for all, recognising the strength which lies in diversity.
We believe that working with parents and carers is one of the keys to success, and we welcome all opportunities to partner with you, so we share the excitement of seeing our children grow and develop, and become valuable members of the community.
