Nursery

King’s Wood School Nursery class sessions run from 8.45 until 11.45 each morning and 12.15 until 3.15 in the afternoon. We have capacity for 24 children at each session.

We have 32 part-time places - 16 in the morning session and 16 in the afternoon session.  Additionally, we have 8 full-time "30 hour" places for pupils who are in Nursery all day.

Our aim is to empower children by providing opportunities to explore a range of experiences and ideas.  Through careful monitoring and observation, we recognise that every child is unique and deliver a curriculum that promotes the "characteristics of effective learners".

The Nursery is run by an experienced, highly qualified, Early Years team who are managed by Mrs Rock, the Early Years Lead.
